Our Snooze Approved Standards
Every ingredient that goes into the food and beverages we serve has its own impact on the planet and our communities. So we’ve established standards not only for the food we serve, but for the partners we source that food from. If it doesn’t get Snooze Approved, it doesn’t get served. Plain and simple.
Is it craveable?
First and foremost, our food must taste delicious and be absolutely craveable!
Respect Animals
We believe animals should be treated with respect, and we partner with purveyors who believe the same. This means animals are not subjected to unnecessary use of antibiotics, added hormones, do not experience confinement, and are fed a wholesome diet with no animal byproducts.
Respect Humans

To help inform our sourcing guardrails, we look to trusted think tanks such as Global Animal Partnership (GAP), Rainforest Alliance, USDA Organic, B Corp, and our internal HACCP program assuring food safety (to name a few).

They pay serious attention to where their feed is grown and how it’s processed, and they make sure everything from the pork itself to the spices they use to create their premium products are sourced through sustainable practices.

Sustainability is at THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO
At Snooze, we’re committed to reducing our waste and being a “different” kind of restaurant. The kind that recognizes we don’t make breakfast in a vacuum, we make breakfast on planet Earth. And we believe that comes with a responsibility to make sure we minimize our negative impact on the environment as much as we possibly can.
Materials
Our orange reusable cups help each Snooze restaurant avoid the use of 50,000 disposable cups each year. In 2019, this will equal the volume of 2,621,359 tennis balls!
Energy/Water/Carbon
By using low-flow aerators, we reduce hand-washing water by at least 67%. Now, that’s a glass 2/3 full.
Food WasteIn
2018, Snooze kept 2.2 million lbs of organic waste out of landfills. That’s the same weight as 7 blue whales.

Since 2014, Snooze has diverted over 10,000,000 lbs of materials from landfills. That’s enough materials to fill 2,075 big yellow school buses.
